Boston McCutcheon Protest

President Obama is currently contemplating issuing an Executive Order requiring disclosure of campaign contributions for federal contractors. Such an order would allow us to monitor and ensure that politicans aren't handing out contracts and favors in exchange for campaign cash.

This would therefore be a very exciting victory for our movement to shine the light on corporations that are attempting to buy our elections. It is very likely that significant grassroots pressure will make the difference too!

Join us as we encourage President Obama to shine the light on corporate corruption of our democracy as part of nationwide rallies on April 2 – the year anniversary of the McCutcheon U.S. Supreme Court ruling that further put our democracy up for sale.

We'll be meeting right outside the MA State House steps, opposite the Boston Common on Beacon Street at 12:00pm, gathering to hold our signs, issue our chants, speak to the media, and make a statement to all of the politicians watching, including the President, that we demand disclosure and reform!

This event does not require an RSVP, and you are welcome to walk-in, but we ask for you to sign up if you can in order for us to track how many people to expect!

We're sorry, the deadline for registering for this event has passed.
