Democracy is powered by the people—and right now, we must come together to defend it. As the President addresses Congress, we’re gathering in Hartford to show that our voices, our votes, and our future must be protected.

Common Cause Connecticut, the League of Women Voters of Connecticut, and Connecticut Citizen Action Group are joining the #50501 Movement—50 protests, 50 states, one movement—at 12pm on Capitol Avenue.

And this rally is just the beginning. Later in the evening, we’ll take part in the Light for Our Democracy event, coming together in reflection, action, and solidarity during the President’s address to Congress.
