Mail-in Voting: Tell West Hartford Town Council You Support
Start: 2020-06-01 18:30:00 UTC Eastern Daylight Time (US & Canada) (GMT-04:00)
This is a virtual event

You are invited to attend and speak in favor of expanding CT mail-in voting at a virtual meeting on Monday, June 1st at 6:30pm. West Hartford Town Council's Special Advisory Committee on Social and Community Recovery needs to hear from you!
Thanks to your support Connecticut voters will be permitted to vote by absentee ballot for the August 11 primaries – an easing of the absentee ballot restrictions made possible by Gov. Ned Lamont.
But the expansion of mail-in voting DOES NOT extend to the November 2020 election or any future elections.
Members of the West Hartford Town Council have introduced a non-binding resolution, which they would like to forward to the General Assembly, requesting the expansion of voting by mail for all future elections.
Join this virtual public meeting and tell the West Hartford Town Council that voters need the freedom to vote safely by mail from home if they choose for the 2020 general election!
