Why is this important? While more Americans will use the USPS to receive and/or cast their ballot this year, delivering mail-in ballots is just one of the essential functions the post office plays. Attacks on the post office are hurting not just voters, but also our seniors, veterans, workers, families in rural areas, and small businesses who depend on the USPS.
