The City of Atlanta has been doing everything in its power to stop public input on Cop City since the beginning. And now they are standing in the way of citizens making their voices heard once again.

Over the last several months organizers have been on the ground in Atlanta, going door to door and talking to their neighbors about the negative impacts that Cop City will have on their communities. This citizen-initiated process led to over 104,000 signatures being collected opposing the building of Cop City.

It’s vital that the city of Atlanta accepts and processes these signatures because those who signed the petition are now considered active voters, and will help preserve their freedom to vote as we approach an important election year in 2024.
