Help CCJRC Assist Justice-Involved Voters in Arapahoe County
In Colorado, voters who are serving time in county jails for misdemeanors or are in pre-trial detention are allowed to register and vote while they are confined. We believe it is important that these voters have equitable access to their right to vote.
Our partners at the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition (CCJRC) are building a program for justice-involved communities in Arapahoe County. They will be helping voters who are confined in the county jail register and vote in the upcoming elections. They will also be providing education on voting with a criminal background.
CCJRC is looking for volunteers in the Arapahoe County area who would like to get involved with this new program. This work will involve multiple trainings and moderate time commitment.
If you are interested in engaging in this work please fill out this form or email Jasmine Ross, CCJRC Civic Engagement Coordinator, at jasmine@ccjrc.org.
