Tell Senator Schumer: Don’t slow walk the Senate’s advice and consent role
For too long, the Senate has delayed in performing its duty – seeing the advice and consent process through. That’s the process that allows the Senate to weigh in on and approve the President’s nominations of federal judges and other federal officials. But because of the Senate’s procrastination, some judicial nominees have been pending for more than a year.
Senator Chuck Schumer must urgently move every single judicial nomination currently pending to the floor of the Senate for a vote. All pending judicial and other agency nominees should get an immediate up or down vote.

“Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m calling from [TOWN/CITY] to let Senator Schumer know that as his constituent, I’m counting on him to act urgently to continue putting all pending federal judge nominations to a confirmation vote.
It’s imperative that the Majority Leader uses his power to ensure that the Senate fulfills its advice and consent role.
