Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene must be held accountable
Federal Election Commission
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has repeatedly flouted Congressional rules and federal law since she was elected last November -- which is why Common Cause officially filed a complaint against her with the Federal Election Commission last week. [1]
That’s because late last year, Rep. Greene filmed a fundraising video for an anti-Warnock and Ossoff super PAC in complete violation of federal law -- which bans candidates and officeholders from soliciting massive contributions like this.
These laws are in place for a reason: they’re a vital bulwark against deep-pocketed individuals and special interests trying to buy an election. Marjorie Taylor Greene can’t get away with testing the limits like this.
ADD MY NAME: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene needs to be held accountable for flagrantly violating campaign finance law.

We have campaign finance laws for a reason: to ensure that our democracy belongs to Americans, rather than big money interests banding together in pursuit of their own self-serving goals. And when individuals and groups -- in this case, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and the Stop Socialism NOW PAC -- blatantly disregard the rules and violate federal law, it’s absolutely crucial that they be held accountable for their actions.
