Tell the DOJ: Investigate Ted Cruz
U.S. Department of Justice
The Department of Justice must immediately investigate Ted Cruz.
A bombshell federal complaint accuses Cruz of colluding with media conglomerate iHeartMedia – which produces his podcast – to illegally funnel hundreds of thousands of dollars of advertising revenue from his podcast to a super PAC supporting his re-election. [1]
Ted Cruz’s podcast has attracted controversy ever since iHeartMedia began funding it in 2022 – because iHeartMedia is a registered lobbyist that’s spent over $50 million to influence Congress for looser regulations and favorable treatment. [2]
Cruz and iHeartMedia’s defense is that he's doing the podcast for free, but there's one big problem with their explanation: iHeartMedia has funneled $630,000 from its campaign war chest straight to Cruz’s re-election effort, through his Truth and Courage PAC.
They say that money comes from his podcast’s ad sales, but if they’re kicking that money back to Cruz’s super PAC at his request, then they’re flagrantly violating campaign finance law. [2]
Add your name if you agree: the DOJ must immediately investigate Ted Cruz’s shady podcast deal and hold him accountable for any wrongdoing.
