We must hold Secretary of State Raffensperger accountable
Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger
Here in Georgia, Secretary of State Raffensperger is spreading debunked conspiracy theories to try and take away our right to vote. But nationally, he’s trying to become a celebrity just for doing the bare minimum of not helping Trump “find 11,000 votes” to overturn our state’s Electoral College result.
The fact is, we can’t trust Brad Raffensperger to protect voters’ rights -- and even now, he’s ramping up his efforts to stop eligible Georgians from being able to cast their ballots.
Since the election, he’s proposed requiring photo ID for all absentee voting, or even getting rid of absentee voting entirely. And, he wants to give his office new power to overrule local election officials in counties he’s consistently targeted -- like Fulton County, which has the highest population of Black voters in our state. [1][2]
Tell Secretary of State Raffensperger that his job as Secretary of State is to ensure that every eligible Georgian can cast a ballot -- not to engage in dishonest, discriminatory efforts to limit the right to vote in Georgia.

It’s the Secretary of State’s job to make our elections as fair and accessible as possible, encouraging Georgians across the state to exercise their right to vote. But instead of doing his duty, Raffensperger has been attempting to limit our right to vote and cut us out of our state’s democratic process. That’s not right, and he must be held accountable.
