We are ramping up our efforts before the 2022 election season kicks into high gear -- and we need YOUR help!

Everyday people are the heart of our democracy and we must empower ourselves and each other to protect it.

Our lives are impacted every day by what happens in our democracy and what our leaders take action on. Where and how are children are educated, if we can find affordable housing, how our communities are impacted by the environment, and so much more. It's up to us to ensure our voices are heard throughout the democratic process -- that the procedures in place are truly for and of the people.

This year, in Michigan, we are focusing on several key democracy issues -- from voting rights and accessible and fair elections to government transparency and accountability -- and everything in-between. Citizen volunteers like you play a critical role in connecting with our communities on key issues and encouraging others to get engaged as well.

Common Cause Michigan is hosting both in-person and remote volunteer activities throughout the year that will have a major impact on our work. Collecting ballot petition signatures, organizing election day volunteers, tabling at events, and phone banking are just a few examples.
