2025 is going to be a big year for strengthening democracy, not just at the national level but also here in Massachusetts at the state and local level. Can we count on you to get even more involved?
Join up with hundreds of our most active volunteers across Massachusetts to take action on urgent democracy issues. Last year, our volunteers monitored the polls on Election Day, successfully advocated to ban guns at polling locations, attended local voting town halls, and so much more!
This year we’re going to ramp up our legislative advocacy, and we need you to join us! Please sign this petition if you pledge to do one or more of the following:
- Attend a Common Cause lobby day at the State House
- Email and call your state lawmakers in support of our legislative priorities
- Boost our social media content to engage your networks
- Host a local gathering with Common Cause volunteers
- Write a letter to the editor
We need help from engaged Bay Staters like you to help us continue the work of improving our democracy - this year, our priorities include:
- Campaigning to pass and enact Same Day Registration
- Advocating to update our state's Open Meeting Law
- Defending against harmful Article V proposals
