Many GOP members of Congress are responsible for perpetuating Donald Trump's lies -- the same lies that incited the horrific January 6th attack at our Capitol that left several dead.

But now, some of those very same Republicans want to join the new House select committee to investigate this violent insurrection.

That’s outrageous. The American people are counting on this committee to get at the truth and make sure an attack like this one can never happen again.

And anyone who’s still spouting Donald Trump’s lies about the 2020 election -- even after the terrible violence they’ve caused -- has no business being a part of it. That includes representatives like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Madison Cawthorn, who just weeks ago voted against a major 9/11-style commission to do this investigation.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi has already appointed 8 members to the select committee -- and soon, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy will offer names for 5 more. McCarthy, who voted to overturn the 2020 election earlier this year, has already made his disdain for the committee clear.

We must make sure that Speaker Pelosi rejects any efforts by McCarthy to undermine the select committee by putting Republicans who incited the insurrection on it. If you agree, please add your name today.
