Have you heard of “Project 2025”?

That’s the code word that Trump and his political operatives are using for the far-right takeover he wants to enact on day one of his presidency [1]:

• Installing Trump loyalists: Immediately firing thousands of qualified civil servants and replacing them with Trump supporters who will do his bidding.

• Stripping away our rights: Rolling back reproductive rights, deploying the National Guard to crack down on protests, using the military for mass deportation campaigns, and more.

• Weaponizing the law: Prosecuting political opponents and pardoning Jan. 6th insurrectionists.

This isn’t just talk. It’s a coordinated plot organized by the Heritage Foundation, and backed by over 80 far-right organizations and hundreds of millions of dollars – much of which is secret money. [2]

“Project 2025” would be nothing short of a disaster for our democracy – gutting our constitutional rights, replacing nonpartisan civil servants with Trump loyalists at every level of government, and fulfilling Trump’s wishes of becoming a dictator.
