Nearly 2 in 3 Americans support our efforts to fix the broken Electoral College and elect the president by popular vote. [1]

And it’s no mystery why – if we move to a National Popular Vote system, we’d have an incredible opportunity to ensure every voter’s voice is heard:

• Candidates would spend more time engaging with voters across the entire country, not just a few battleground states.

• All voters would have an equal say in choosing our next president – creating a more vibrant and inclusive democracy.

• And we can avoid the disconnect where a candidate who loses the popular vote ends up in the White House (like in 2000 and 2016) – ensuring that the will of the people prevails, as it should.  

That’s what democracy for the people is about. And with your help, we can make this plan a reality.
