Trump’s DHS is threatening to shut down thousands of flights into New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago – unless those cities’ leaders invite ICE in to terrorize their own constituents. [1]

That’s right. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin is willing to cancel thousands of flights and burn billions of dollars in tourism and business – all because city officials are listening to their voters and saying NO to out-of-control ICE agents.

It’s a direct attack on the airport workers, hotel staff, restaurant employees, rideshare drivers, and small businesses that would be hit first by this scheme. Entire communities depend on international travel and tourism to survive and thrive.

And if you’re a sports fan, this would be an absolute disaster for the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Olympics. Those are occasions for the United States to celebrate and welcome the world – not slam the door shut because Trump wants to punish his perceived enemies.

Here’s the good news: This scheme is so reckless and blatantly partisan that even Trump’s own Transportation Secretary, Sean Duffy, is speaking out against it. [2] We need massive public pressure now to stop it before it becomes reality.
