Tell Congress: Stop Trump’s LA Crackdown

U.S. Congress

People across the country are rising up and exercising the basic right to peaceful protest, demanding an end to Trump’s unlawful detentions and the pain they’re inflicting on families just trying to work and survive.

But instead of listening, President Trump is responding with military force. [1]

Overriding local leaders, he deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles and threatened to send in Marines – not to protect anyone, but to provoke confrontation.

Trump has already spent at least $134 million militarizing LA [2] and is demanding billions more to keep funding ICE raids. [3] Every dollar for this crackdown is a dollar taken from healthcare, food, and services our communities actually need. Congress can – and must – step in.

Tell Congress: REJECT Trump’s funding for unjust ICE raids and end this crackdown on our most fundamental rights.

To: U.S. Congress

We can’t let Trump’s Los Angeles crackdown become the new normal.

Congress must refuse to fund these attacks on our rights, our neighbors, and our free speech – and REJECT Trump’s request for billions of dollars more to fund ICE raids in our workplaces and schools.
